Here’s to the weekend! Full of work, that is.

This Friday, Candy was away for the weekend. Oh, my ever reliable Candy who manages the office amazingly, who left me all her work as she frolics in Baguio and Pagudpod! I wish I were as amazing as her!

My final meeting today was with a client who wanted to have her invites done for her wedding this December.

I’m so proud that we were able to conceptualize something really classy, elegant, and as she says, would topple every invitation design possible! ( well, I didn’t say that! ) It’s because I don’t do invites normally. I do it only for special people ( with her, being my best bud’s older sister) I don’t have ready-made templates, and I make from scratch, and of course, make my imagination run wild. I can’t wait for the finished product! My best bud was also present, even in the midst of getting herself out of the world of the sane in the jungle called Law School. She makes me feel that I made the right decision not to heed my dad’s wishes with me going to Law School. I think the study load of it would kill my brain. Naw way.

Tomorrow, I would be meeting someone for business – again. It’s just amusing to think that way back in High School, I just couldn’t wait to grow up, and be in college, and get in the corporate world to escape from my assignments, lab reports, and grueling exams. The “reality bites” phenomenon further makes me think – oh wait, I don’t think I can think. My mind’s loaded with words “business, business, and more businesses.” Right now, I would pretty much trade everything I have to turn back time and remain a kid. I would even trade my MAC Lipglass, OK!
