Filed Under (Techy Techy) by Summer Girl
The term grappling just popped out of my head from the frustration that I’m having over my new 13″ Macbook. Good thing when I checked Dictionary.com, the word made sense, to try to overcome or deal (usually fol. by with): to grapple with a problem ( ref : dictionary.com ) Even if my 4-day old Macbook is all its cutie goodness, with a very adorable pink case that I got from Amazon, I am still highly challenged, and frustrated because it is my first time, ever, to use a MAC! Somehow analogous to my 8-year old baby sister Sunshine who is the cutest baby, but can be a pain to deal with sometimes. Sarabeth aka Sugar has been swooning over it all week. She wants one for herself ! She is tech geekier than I am, and I am just too proud to admit it! Hahaha! The F9 key is heaven-sent, but I really really think that I should get a mouse. I am so lost. My friend Kaths says that the first time she used Diana’s Macbook, she wanted to throw it in the trashbin right then and there, but she eventually learned to love it. The learning curve is somewhat..flat, eh? They assure me that sooner or later I would not live without a MAC. I don’t know. I can’t even install Photoshop CS from my CD. Good thing I’m going to the office tomorrow to use my ever reliable PC to blog! For now, I couldn’t see myself letting go! ( Except for the Photo Booth, and F9! Haha! )
