It’s supposed to be a cold, quiet night conducive to reflection, but the sound of rain , adds up to some noise, but makes it much more a reflective night.

I believe that I have survived the rainy days just fine, despite the occasional outbursts of discontent. Oh, I just so want more brighter and jollier days. I miss the gorgeous sunsets of Boracay that seduces me to stay in it forever.

I believe that a few more months’ worth of sleepless nights and nonstop working would take me there in no time. In order to escape this season’s gloomy and melancholic chants to my ear, I chose myself to drown , not in the sound of rain, but in the sounds of keyboards, phone calls, lively chatters with my newfound friends, and whips of the makeup brush. I just wish that my mind would fill itself with so much stuff that there would not be any space left for the idle mind to wander.

Yesterday, I felt a natural high as I hosted the Beauty & Minerals Day, as I did makeovers on more than 10 girls. I can’t believe I was able to do it in a span of four hours! When I started grabbing hold of the makeup brushes, my hands just couldn’t stop working! I was so happy to have introduced mineral makeup to these newbies! We even had Billy Joe Crawford with us for a photo-op, thanks to my soul sister Sheila! Read the rest of this entry »

When I heard this song, I just stopped, in disbelief, that there was such a song that perfectly captures my emotions as of the moment. Incredible.

“Fools Like Me”

Everybody go
The party’s over
I want to be alone in my head
In my bed tonight
You never show

I’m echoing my post title - sleeping late is like getting drunk.

When you sleep late, and wake up early, early in the morning, you get a very very sickening hangover, that leaves your brain a hole all throughout the day. Not so cool.

I’m not a drunkard, for the record. I drink once in three to four months! But then, memories of intoxication to me are more vivid than anything else. Maybe it’s the state when I’d love to linger as I seem to feel free the most. ( and yet, I’m not yet addicted to it! Hahahaha! )

For the past few months, I’ve been out of control blogging the nights away and trying to develop some new sites ( which I have yet to do ). I just have so much ideas in my head that I want to do everything, but having only one pair of hands and one brain, I can only do as much as I can right now.

Just today, I am officially a B5Media blogger for Beauty Gizmo, a blog about beauty tools and gadgets. I know - too much beauty blogging for me already? I don’t think so. I’ve never enjoyed blogging this much - even when I am down and depressed, sometimes, I just couldn’t write it down, but I could always utter a word about makeup or skin care whenever someone would need the advice, or I would always feel like writing something beauty-related. Blogging gives me a natural high - it unleashes the inner writer in me, as well as boosts my self esteem, that I feel good about helping people, and also, being recognized and appreciated by readers. Feels good. Read the rest of this entry »

Things might not have been happening the way I want them to be, but in the midst of all of these, it only takes one thing to make my day -

That is to be able to have a sneak peak of the new and improved Watson’s, the latest beauty and wellness wonderland in SM Mall of Asia. Watch out for my feature in Beautynomics. When I saw the place, I seriously wanted to have it all to myself!

Yeah, it only takes that to make me feel alive again!

Guess what -

You are my morphine
That kills my emotions
I want to wallow in you
I want to drown in you
You are poison
You are my slow death
and I am drawn to you.
You are my relief
You are my diversion
From the more painful stab
I had days ago.
You are my last hope
to want to breathe.
I’d rather feel pain from you
Than remember.

Lucky that I love online shopping over at Multiply, or else I wouldn’t be able to discover this delightful dessert!

Introducing, Puff Mommy’s Cream Puffs.

I was instantly mesmerized, and got a little hungry when I saw the pictures over at her website. Oh yum. Cream Puffs. I didn’t hesitate to order from her via PM and she scheduled a delivery to Quezon City on a Sunday. I wasn’t at home so my mom received it for me.

When my mom fetched me from the salon, the hungry me who didn’t get to eat lunch because of the rebonding procedure I underwent gobbled the cream puffs I asked mom to bring along in the car. Read the rest of this entry »

In this world
We are simply colors black and white
Our existence fleeting
We are living
A story that is not real to some
Nothing would ever matter
When our lips touch
As our time comes
We meld into nothingness
We burn the lights out
As we have each other
No one sees us anymore.

First things first, I was shrieking in joy as my dad couldn’t understand what I was saying as I heard from the radio that there was a PISO Seat Sale at Cebu Pacific. Woooohoo, and the first day of the promo was today, I thought I actually was going to be one of the first to book good flights!

To my dismay, the travel period was from Nov. 1 to Dec. 20. Everyone’s just so busy by that time, including me. My next Boracay trip would have to wait til February, and I don’t think there are tickets on sale for that date! Too much foreigners flocking because of the Chinese New Year Celebration.
