A bad thing about me is that I collect planners - and I don’t write on them. Hahaha. Well, perhaps, I try to write on them for the first month or so, then keep them for good. This year’s been good to me, and I received a Starbucks Planner that I so love. Cristine promised to give me a Belle de Jour Planner, too. It’s planner county here baby! Hahaha! Well, well well! *wink*

Guess what came in today? A Sunlife Planner!

It was a month or so ago that I decided to invest in some Sunlife bonds ( that’s backed with insurance, I think ) to achieve some passive income in the long run. Ya know, I just can’t go overworking like this forever. My body has limits, too. I’m hoping that my money grows day by day to the point that I don’t have to work anymore. Hah. I want a hefty sum for my pension to make me travel all over the world!

Going back, Aunt E ( mom of F, who gave me the Starbucks Planner ) visited my office this morning to drop off some gifts. I got a cellphone pouch which I handed over to mum who loves pouches, and as for the pretty notebook that was handed to me, I had second thoughts of sharing it!

All I want to say is that - getting insurance never felt this rewarding! The Sunlife Planner this year is SO BEAUTIFUL! They scrapped the desk planners which had big spaces for meetings ( okay, so bigshots right now are dismayed, but notebook-planner freaks like me aren’t! Haha! )

The Sunlife Planner SURELY rivals the Starbucks planner this year. ( Phoebe calls it a ripoff, but hey, I don’t mind! ) More space for writing per day, beautiful photography, excellent quality paper ( bookpaper printed with gorgeous sepia-like tones, I believe ), quotes for every month that just warms the heart ( something like, “There’s something magical about Christmas that brings out all the children in us.” ), and I love the chipboard wrapped covers that makes it a very sturdy notebook. Woops, too much technicality. I guess I still have work in my head.

Well, this is gonna be the last that I’ll talk about this new planner of mine since I should be handing this over to someone in my family. Perhaps my mom who loves taking down notes. Perhaps my sister who’s the busiest office girl in the world ( more than me, so she is actually a robot slash machine. ) I’ve been gifted with planners that I wouldn’t be using , and I think I should be a little bit selfless just this time! Hahaha!

If they promise to give away planners like these next year, I bet there’d be a surge of people who would purchase insurance premiums, or bonds. It’s just like Starbucks stickers, but in a somewhat financial security inclined way! LOL!

But a challenge would be - actually use a planner, and stay faithful to it for an entire year! I’m up for the challenge!
