For Day 2 of the love song challenge ( I’m actually behind by two entries, drat ), I choose to feature Linger by the Cranberries. Goodness, who would ever forget this? After watching the movie Click, I would sing it over, and over again. It’s actually an old song ( way back in the 90s ) by the Cranberries, and it seems to me that the song is about being a slave to love. Slave in the sense that you are rendered powerless, and no matter how much you were wronged by someone you love, you choose to oversee it, or even forget, the moment he holds your hand. The word “linger” has a romantic appeal to it, so it seems. It’s letting time pass you by as you dwell on the euphoric feelings of love, prolong it as much as you can feel the bliss. Who wouldn’t want to linger on romance? Doesn’t happen alot, so feel it while it’s still there. I’m sure I’m not being rude, but it’s just your attitude, I swore, I swore I would be true, and honey, so did you. But I’m in so deep. You know I’m such a fool for you. Oh, I thought the world of you. But I’m in so deep. You know I’m such a fool for you. And I’m in so deep. You know I’m such a fool for you. You know I’m such a fool for you. Source :azlyrics.com

err.. it shoots straight into my heart..this song i mean. Well, i guess its human that when you truly like or love someone, no matter how he faults or does something bad, just a smile from him or a hold of your hand takes away the negative and brings a smile to your face….haayyy..
