Gifts I Want to Receive On V-Day

Ayay, February, oh February. You are making me so darn mushy! ( It rhymes! ) The answers below might make you think that I’m a dreamer, well, it’s just me trying to preserve my dreaminess while I still can!

1. Dinner.
I love food, and nothing can sweep me away more than a hearty dinner. It doesn’t have to be necessarily fancy, all I need is good food, with big servings, and the thought that someone would know my favorite food ( by being observant ) is already enough. Or maybe, I’d love to try something new, too. Cook for me? I’ll swoon. But really, the company is most important, too. Don’t let me eat alone, please

2. A Day at the Beach
I know, I know, it’s quite demanding to ask someone to spend a day with me at the beach during Valentines’ Day since traffic is at its worst! But then, it doesn’t hurt to dream a quiet day at the beach, just lazing around, leaving all worries behind just for a day. And please let me photograph you - you better pose!

3. A Bouquet of Roses
Even if this is the common thing that are being given as gifts, I don’t care. I’m a girl, and I want roses. Beautiful, beautiful roses to smell for a second, and gaze at when they are transferred to the vase. Nothing beats the giddy feeling of receiving roses. I’ve also a secret combo for roses that I’m hoping one day, someone would get right ! Teehee:)

4. Love
I would want love this Valentines’ Day. Well, not necessarily love-love, I just want a love-filled day with my family, friends, and all that. I’d love to see everyone smile, and be happy. For that special someone to come along, well, I don’t want him to surface on Valentines’ Day. Tres cheesy. Hahaha!

5. A million dollars.
No, I’m kidding. I’m running out of gifts I want for Valentines’ Day! I just wanted those four, actually. I don’t equate Valentines’ with Christmas wherein you get presents you’ve always wanted, because I feel it’s a special day, wherein the heart is wide-open for love, as it doesn’t happen everyday. It’s actually a chance to express love, and give love, and I just want to give all the love I could give to make sure that my loved ones feel it.

I don’t know, Valentine’s Day is a state of mind ( the whole world’s worth of “state of mind” that is hahaha! ), I know it’s silly to be extra love-filled that day, but for the sake of being in the spirit of the occasion, it doesn’t hurt to use it as an excuse to express how you feel, when you just couldn’t during normal days.
