Well, it is February, so in celebration of the month of love (oh my here I go again), my best friends went to watch 27 Dresses starring Katherine Heigl.

I might not really relate to Jane ( Heigl )in the sense that she is purely, purely selfless in giving herself to others for their respective happy endings, and setting her needs aside, but then I could relate to her in the sense that I truly believe in fairy tales, and happy endings. I am a sucker for romance, and I always will be. God you must see my seatmate’s face when I was swooning when Kevin ( Mardsden ) said, “Come over here.” as well, I don’t want to give spoilers. * Shuts her mouth*

What made this movie appealing is the idea that every girl deserves a happy ending, allthemore, with a girl that has been nothing but selfless, in giving other people happiness. It’s a “good people deserve happiness” themed movie, a little bit predictable, but nonetheless perfect for Valentine’s Day. I cried in the last part, during the wedding, because it’s always been a girl’s dream come true to walk in the aisle, as the magical moment happens, the groom’s face just lights up of pure love, respect, and devotion. *Gushes, well, someday, somehow, everyone will have his/her own dose of magic, just like this.*

Well, to wrap this up, some interesting parts or tidbits about the movie that I loved (now, the spoilers! ) :
* Laughed so hard with every appearance of Casy, Jane’s “really rude best friend.”
* Loved Jane’s outfits ( all of them, specially the last one, the black dress with a really nice slit )
* Laughed at Jane’s 27 dresses. They’re so cute! ( meaning…:)) )
* Wowed by Jane’s sister’s confidence - when she walked in that bar in a sexy yellow dress ( reminded me of Kylie Minogue* , and how she made eye contact. Apart from that, I hated her. Hahaha
* Laughed so hard when Jane had to attend two weddings in one night, dance twice, and everything
* Laughed when Jane said something about a sandwich. Ooh, I found it, “I feel like I just found out my favorite love song was about a sandwich.” Hahahaha!
* Swooned when Kevin /Malcolm (Mardsden ) said, “Come over here.” in a very sexy voice. I-seriously-could-not-forget-about-it. This is at par with my favorite line from Maid in Manhattan, delivered by Ralph Fiennes, “When I first saw you, I was mesmerized.” .They might seem really common lines, but they way they were delivered just just just struck me. Completely.
*Cried in the end. Yeah, I was teased mercilessly by my friends. Hahaha!

Tata!
