I have just noticed that some people, have absolutely no idea, on how their simplest actions affect some people, specially those who have yearned for attention from them for the longest time.

A single hello brightens someone’s day, a thoughtless touch troubles the mind, and every word spoken is memorized and well documented into someone’s heart. A single action can affect someone so much. Even a careless action can send someone to cloud nine for a walk in the clouds.

But on the other hand, a single absence of action, or word, can cause the deepest pain on someone. Even unintentionally ignoring someone may pierce a wound in someone’s well-kept, fragile heart.

The most painful thing there is that - he doesn’t even know that he has that much effect on you. He lies in the most blissful state of sleep, conscience all clear, not knowing that he had one heart broken.

I know, it’s far from fair. But the truth is, not all people are born with the same level of sensitivity and consideration for others. Some are born oblivious, dense, though there are also some overly paranoid and forever assuming.

If you had the chance to have a peek into someone’s heart - would you do it? A part of me have always wanted to do that but there is indeed beauty in mystery, and not knowing. Sometimes it saves you from further hurt, but also, it hinders you from reaching your destination.

Some people would prefer to hide in limbo, scared to face the truth. Some people want the truth upfront - only to learn that there are cruel people out there who choose to torture, and deprive giving the much wanted answers.

It’s a twisted world, really.
