A heavy boulder in my heart
Makes me fail to feel anything
But pain.
I’m sinking.
Deeper and deeper into the dark.
I cannot breathe.

If life were a dream, everyone who has worked so hard for something would’ve gotten the good fortune that they deserved.

Diligent students spend sleepless nights, giving all their hearts and minds, and are sure to ace the oral exam the day after.

Employees who work with all their passion and perseverance all get promotions and live a better life.

Girls who want their men, just give them enough attention, and show them that they’d care, and it’s a sure shot reciprocity of love.

Guys who want their ladyloves just camp out of their houses everyday and it’s a marriage waiting to happen.

Happy endings are earned by those who pray every night, do good to humanity, and be obedient sons and daughters, or good students.

I must admit. I’m not totally fond of Batangas beaches.

I’ve been spoiled too much of luxurious, fine sand, that I would rather book a plane ticket to enjoy excellent beaches in Bohol, or Boracay. I’m even saving profusely for Palawan. Yes, I get broke with my fondness for fine sand beaches!

With the limited schedule of my dear friends, an overnight stay to be exact, we couldn’t go that far, so we just settled to go to Batangas. Oh well, at least there was sun and ample time for sunbathing! Hahaha! ( What I crave most about summer is the tan that I get to sport! )

On the third leg of our journey, twas bestbud A’s idea to visit a friend’s place and spend the night there as it was just 45 minutes away from the beach. So our third destination, Lipa City, Batangas.

On the way there, I was bored, and on a fast moving vehicle, the impulsive me just opened the window of M’s car and started shooting random sunset pics - just because I’ve never taken a sunset shot, ever. Next time, I’d make sure I camp out during sunrise, and sunset at the beach to chase good light and capture beautiful shots, as every budding photography enthusiast would go for. ( See Swept Away )

We spent the night at Events Centre, which is owned and managed by bestbud A’s friend ( and our new friend, too ) H. The facade, as we arrived there, striked to me as a typical hotel, but when I went inside, it turned out to be a great place to hold well, events ! Aside from being an events facility, it also has rooms that can accommodate overnighters and such ( like us! ). There was a wedding reception held in the main hall when we arrived there, and we were escorted to the room by their courteous staff.

Last weekend was more than anything that I could ask for as I was given a chance to get away from Manila, and spend more time with my bestbuds from college, A and M. With the limited time given to us ( just an overnight stay , these law students are just so darn busy ), I was tasked to plan for our trip.

One thing came into my mind - lunch at Buon Giorno, Cliffhouse, Tagaytay, for starters.

I’ve been enjoying the food at Buon Giorno for some time now as my other friends just love dining there. We always make sure to reserve the Opium Bed beforehand, the most romantic, and best seats in the resto, with a gorgeous view of the Taal Lake. Now, I’ve brought my two friends here with a mission to impress them with the delicious Italian food, and the very enjoyable ambience. Read the rest of this entry »

Hey, it’s summer after all, my favorite time of the year. It’s time to take a break, enjoy the warm weather ( hey, you get to lose weight from perspiring, and get to achieve that gorgeous tan that you’ve wanted! Just wear SPF! *wink* ), and jump in the pool or run to the beach and enjoy the cool splash of water.

This weekend was one of a kind as it was our first trip ever, my best buds from college ( A, and M ), and I. We managed to squeeze four destinations in two days, because of their impossible schedules ( ahh, lawyers ).

I must admit that summer has officially swept me away. In more ways than one.

Posting in progress. :)

Apparently, it’s not just me who loves taking photos.

Check out my sister Suzzane’s shot of my baby sis Juliet. She’s holding a bouquet of flowers made from straws, that was made for Suzzane’s final project. She’s taking film photography now.

I just love shots of children. They make me feel alive, and just smile, for the reason that I feel that the world is a beautiful place with innocent, playful children around.

This hilarious video that I’ve watched from The Bubble Gang weeks ago, has been my LSS.

It’s darn hilarious. Looks like there are guys who have hidden grudges with materialistic gals. Hahahaha!

Channeling some emotions….

“…and I’d give up forever to touch you, and I know that you’d feel me somehow. You’re the closest to heaven that I’ve ever been and I don’t want to go home right now.”

I don’t care if this will bring me so much pain.

I know what I’m doing. I know what I want.

I just want to be with you.
