Hahaha no, it’s not another emo post that would make you roll your eyes as I wallow in self pity or depression again. It’s an event I attended at Mag:Net Cafe last Tuesday, David and Goliath’s Little Losers Press Launch.

Named after his father and his dog, David & Goliath combines Goldman’s sense of humor with simple graphic imagery to define a fashion line that is clearly, above and beyond the overtly obnoxious slogan tees that plague the market today. In essence, quips from David & Goliath that run from sassy declarations like “I can tell your bag is fake” to attitudinal proclamations of “Anything you can do, I can do better,” gives the wearer a hip and trendy pulpit from which they can make their fashionable statements. And today, in the spirit of constant innovation and creativity, Goldman’s Stupid Factory has churned a new batch of graphic misfits called the Little Losers that represent a humorous path to self-expression tinged with irony and wit.

They launched “The Little Losers” which showcases 57 characters, and what can I say? Last night, I embraced the loser in me and had alot of fun watching Gabe Mercado’s SPIT, laughing my heart outs until my eyes are nonexistent anymore. Yes, I had fun being a loser for the night and I’ve never laughed that much in ages!

See? someone even caught that moment.

Of course, I just couldn’t let the event pass me by without some camwhoring. It’s Miss High Maintenance’s must-do for every event.

Umm…ME!

Me and Bambi all whacked up

Did I just say I settled for Miss High Maintenance? Well, yeah, I have to admit, I am high maintenance. Someone told me high maintenance girls demanded their boyfriends to take them shopping and pay the bill, but in my context, high maintenance meant girls who just want to look good all the time, prettify themselves all the time and uhm…pack heavy during travels. ( how about this- someone told me if I was going abroad when I let him see my overnight bag ) Hahaha!

I’ve also gotten a chance to check out the tees, they are just too cute for words, and they’re really funny - that I think David and Goliath would be my next shopping destination for apparel in the coming weeks. I’m quite excited to get my tee this weekend or the next! Miss High Maintenance tee- you are moine, moine, and moine! *insert evil laugh* I hope they would come up with Miss Self-Absorbed, Miss Vain ( as per Phoeb ), or maybe a Miss I Love My Mirror. That would be fantastic. Haha!

Little Losers Tees retail for P 995.00, and can be found in David & Goliath stores with branches in Trinoma, Bonifacio High Street, Greenbelt 5, Robinsons Place Midtown, Rockwell Powerplant Mall. Boy, losers just have all the fun!
