![]() Labels, or love? Sex and The City has got to be the movie of the year. I’ve never seen this much groups of friends watching movies together. We were a group of seven girls ( straight from makeup class ), and my friend tells me his boss’ was a group of 14 who watched it! I think , more than a movie for lovers, Sex and the City is ultimately the girl-friend flick of the year. Fabulous, breath-stopping clothes, laugh-out loud jokes, and tore-my-heart heartbreaks, Sex and the City drives me to a quiet reflection on how happy I am to have really good friends to be with me thick and thin. Life isn’t perfect in any way, one might want to give up at one point in one’s life, but the existence of wonderful support systems are just the driving forces to look on the brighter side and fight. Fight for one’s space in the world, fight for one’s happiness in this only life we’re given to live. Friends are blessings that God gave us to help us see the beauty of breathing and looking at the world with Prada shades, through good times, and bad times. I’m happy and sad for what happened to the girls in SATC ( I’m not about to post spoilers here ), but I just felt that I could relate ( and alot of girls, for that matter ) , that explains Sex and the City to be a well-loved series. The movie is TRES FABULOUS and consider me sold when they release the DVD. …and for the record, I choose labels for now. I don’t feel like looking and I certainly feel like shopping! and I’m not even in denial.
