…and we just can’t get enough! We just can’t get enough!

Victims for last weekend : My two sisters, Sh, and Jh. As usual, on a Saturday night, the line was still unusually long, but hey, Pepper Lunch lovers don’t take that as something to turn their backs on! We fall in line, obediently, for those seats! ( even if Sh came in early to get us a table heehee )

My health-conscious sister’s plate is filled with Chicken and Salmon Platter. Just so like her! I got to nick from her plate since I eat way more than her, and well, the salmon is still as fresh as it can be! YUM!

The already-flavorful-by-itself Pepper Rice is just delicious. Sh ordered pork pepper rice and my sister ( the younger one ) ordered the chicken pepper rice.

Not in pictures is Jh’s very hefty serving of Chicken Terriyaki. I saw it and it was alot! I got to nick some and it was delicious, too! The sauce was just right, not too sweet, but not salty as well. Great balance.

To my dismay, my favorite Shimofuri Steak was all cooked out already by the time I ordered. Sniff. I settled for Yawaraka Loin Steak - it was leaner, not much fat unlike the marble-ized Shimofuri goodness, but it was just as delicious and texture was still as luxurious as my Shimofuri experience. It still melted in my mouth! For some reason, I felt more affinity with the honey brown sauce and the garlic sauce! I kept on pouring more and more on my plate for my steak, as well as make it some sort of a “sauce” for my rice. I guess I got that from my liking of hot pot!

Well , I don’t really mind a take three, take four, take five and so on…of Pepper Lunch! I’m feverishly hoping they branch out though!

I personally love the ‘cheap’ (double) beef pepper rice among all their beef choices. :) Haha. With the garlic soy sauce, it’s perfect. Now if only we can come out not smelling like the kitchen. :)
