Turning a year old is not a joke. I’ve dreaded crossing over, growing older, or just progressing. I want to be a kid forever. But as if I had a choice! I’m glad that people who love me have been comforting me in the fact that it does not really suck to turn a year older, as they celebrated it with me! ![]() After the MAC Bridal Makeup Class, J , S and I headed for Green Tomato to get some merienda before dinner. I was able to eat my favorite dish there , after a whole year, since I don’t frequent Shang alot. Green Tomato’s so affordable, and their dishes are so gooood!!! Oh my mozarella toast, I love you!!! Dear Marimar, My day was at its worst today as I woke up at the wrong side of the bed. To top it off, a friend of mine just won’t listen to me as I try to talk some sense into her. Muy frustrating. I was swamped with work, and I was in low spirits today as well, I might be PMS-ing. Could anything go worse today? NOT! Because I’m pretty, pretty sure, that you made my day ( night, that is, ) because of this! ![]() When I received an invite for the Sunsilk Press Launch, I immediately said yes for I was impressed with the Life Can’t Wait Campaign. It inspired me to be a go getter, not wait any moment further, and well, spoil my hair even more! When C told me that you were gonna be there, being a HUGE Marian Rivera slash Marimar fan , who stays home every night just to watch every single episode, I knew I needed to be there to see you in the flesh!

It’s the time of the year again when love is in the air. Oops, that didn’t sound right - it’s not Valentines! I mean, when people are cramming to shop for presents for friends, family, and loved ones to show them that they have taken some effort to remember them during the Holidays, when everything’s so jolly, everyone’s celebrating, and it’s always an excuse to smile even if you’re too sleepy to. Haha! Well, with Phoebe and Roanne’s idea for coming up with their wishlist, here’s mine. I’m setting up several wishlists for my niche blogs, but here’s a mix of what I really want this Christmas. For my dear, dear, gorgeous friends who happen to read this, I think I just took some load off your back by telling you what I really really want! 1. Books. Itching to read Philip Pullman’s controversial trilogy of His Dark Materials - 2. Beauty products - my friends actually find it hard to shop beauty products for me because they are scared that I might have that certain item already since I pretty much binge shop on beauty products. Well, on my wishlist, on items that are available locally :

It’s been long overdue, and I’m horribly incoherent on this. Forgive me. Too much thoughts swimming in my head, I better let this out The weekend was great. Never moved so much. Hahaha! Thursday Was about to attend the B5Media Dinner but for security reasons, my folks held me under house arrest. I had a bad feeling that if I defied them,I will be in trouble with my heart beating badly. So there, I didn’t push thru. Binge ate Jollibee as always ( yum, for their palabok ), and enjoyed the chilly weather. ![]() Friday Attended the Blogger Mixer at Kape Isla , Serendra, and brought along my crazy buds Roanne and Phoebe with me. It was fun meeting new people, seeing old friends, and talking about - yes, makeup! The highlight of the party was of course the lovely and fashionable Shai Coggins, who is ultra successful and inspiring. Lurv her accent. Obsessed with her accent! Sasha made me feel that I must do some dieting with her effortless chic ensemble ( I wanna fit in those socks, girl! ) . I think I had a bad case of coffee overdose ( see, I’m really orally fixated, I’m damned ) that I wasn’t able to sleep until the wee hours of the morning! Was on the phone with R, and it was fun hearing her flirty and tipsy voice during such ungodly hours. The things we do after work! Haha! Read the rest of this entry »

![]() I think I broke the record on my shortest sleep ever, which occurred last Friday - a whopping two hours! I’ve never appreciated my adrenaline rush until Saturday that helped me function just fine! After two days worth of sleepless nights, nonstop makeovers and selling mineral makeup, and eating NY Fries for lunch, I’m finally smiling! I’ll probably drift to sleep in a bit, but I’ll be smiling in my sleep! Read the rest of this entry »

![]() This month is all about pink, because it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Honestly, I wouldn’t know how it felt, or nor do I have any relative that has battled this dreaded sickness, but then I greatly empathize ( I am such an empath I always get teary eyed! ) with those who have battled it with great courage, as well as for those who have felt so much pain losing their loved ones with it. I don’t think I would be able to handle it courageously as other women out there if a loved one would have a problem like this, so I am all the way for awareness of Breast Cancer, and ways on how to prevent it. This month is also associated with my favorite color, and I am definitely screaming pink right now as my own way of campaigning for this cause! Aside from my pink, pink blog, I have also joined Dexie’s pink contest over at StyleitLess. My official entry? Check it out! All my pink stuff! Read the rest of this entry »

![]() Yesterday, I felt a natural high as I hosted the Beauty & Minerals Day, as I did makeovers on more than 10 girls. I can’t believe I was able to do it in a span of four hours! When I started grabbing hold of the makeup brushes, my hands just couldn’t stop working! I was so happy to have introduced mineral makeup to these newbies! We even had Billy Joe Crawford with us for a photo-op, thanks to my soul sister Sheila! Read the rest of this entry »

I’m a little bit depressed right now. For a few days, I’ve been deciding whether or not to buy this unique, aqua-blue shade of nail polish that is China Glaze’s Limited Edition, called “For Audrey.”. The shade is inspired by the ever classy and quintessential fashionista Audrey Hepburn. ![]() ![]() Just a few days after, two e-tailers of this nail polish shade already declared, “Sold Out.” Just when I was about to look for someone in the U.S. to receive my package. I’m gonna be okay. In a few days. The question remains - will I be ever, ever get hold of this shade? Please, Santa, I’d be a good girl! Sophie’s Note : I’ve posted this in my personal blog, since well, I was caught into one of my moodswings, with this included. One of my shopping moodswings. Call it shallow, but hey, a little bit of Audrey Hepburn in my outfit won’t hurt! |
