![]() In the midst of all this madness- Uncertainty. Confusion. Stress. Brain damage. Adrenalin Rush. Drain. Highs. Lows. Giddiness. Passion. Perseverance. Dreams. Crazy Laughs. Stoned mornings. ( woah, that’s alot! ) Chugging down a warm cup of coffee will always bring my senses, and my spirits to its all time high My cup of coffee is Cafe Latte, Decaf, with Vanilla Syrup. Milky bitterness with sweetness that’s not overboard. Just like me -warm, but not too intense, and definitely not too sweet . What’s your cup of coffee like? Photo by Phoebe Ramos. She sure did capture my lipgloss well

It’s ironic. I’ve been running around today managing stuff, and packing, and delivering stuff, and I manage to sit down and answer this survey. Yes, I think I always have time for stalling. This has got to stop! Hehe 1. Name one person who made you laugh last night? Katz

Surprises are great, aren’t they? Last Saturday was quite a blast, as I have had the surprise of my life. My best buds and I agreed to have an intimate dinner at Casa Armas for my birthday, then go to Alchemy for some drinks afterwards. I’ve dressed up with my usual night out - outfit, as I have urged my best friends to wear their dresses, so excited to do something different for the night. Read the rest of this entry »

At last, Summer Solstice 2007 is finally here. It marks the first day of summer in the Northern Hemishphere, it’s Midsummer in Europe, and here, it’s awfully damp and cold. Well, I can only imagine the multitude of festivities up there, maybe some day, I can go to Stonehenge as my personal journey to see it happen right in front of my eyes. Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, when the power of the sun is strongest. Long long time ago, our ancestors used to worship the sun because it makes plants grow and it gives them warmth, so the moment of the sun’s greatest power marks a celebration for them. Then, several ( well not several, but alot of ) celebrations have sprouted, and Summer Solstice is an event widely celebrated by people around the world.

With the Wendy fiasco going on ( just a summary : Wendy’s been accusing the nice housemates Gee-Ann and Bea of being “unreal” because they’re not confrontational and they won’t fight back to Wendy ), everyone in the household is absolutely fuming at Wendy’s behavior. I can’t say much for I might burst into flames again, but all I can say is that, being real does not mean that you have to be mean, or resort in bashing, or being hurtful to other people. People who are level-headed and more understanding shouldn’t be mistaken as being “unreal”. Just read here for I share the same sentiments as them. Gosh, I don’t know what to say anymore but, she must go, she must go! She’s not being real at that point, she’s being absolutely childish, and she reminds me of mean girls! But as long as we believe, love doesn’t get older -Kissing by Bliss As summer is to approach the Northern Hemisphere as the Summer Solstice draws near , summer is bidding a quiet farewell, at least, in the country where I live in, which is situated near the equator. I’ve always had this mentality that after June 12, summer is officially over. I remember last year, my college friends and I chose to frolic the last days of summer in Boracay, and the weather was still cooperating with us as it shone an exotic allure that captured my heart. The day we left, was the only time when the rain started pouring in Boracay - and that was the 13th of June.

Yesterday, I was able to attend the Graphic Expo ‘07 at the Philippine Trade Training Center, as I brought along my dad, a tech enthusiast ( who inspired me to be one as well ), and my sister Strawberry, who is majoring in Multimedia Arts, so that I could show her what the latest gadgets and technology there in Pre-press and Imaging. I might be beauty blogging my nights away in pursuit of my holy grail cosmetics, but in broad daylight, I am totally a different person- I belong to the print industry, and I talk not in terms of beauty jargons, but instead, print jargons like color separation, kinds of papers, pre-press, spot colors, and all those stuff. I really enjoy my day job because it is very exciting, and I get to see the print industry evolving rapidly, as the machines go all the way advanced, as prices fluctuate from getting extremely lower, and with new gadgets priced way up there. Printing is my daylight passion. Read the rest of this entry » |
